My entry for *Kurama-chan's Birthday Contest. I was going to draw these two for her birthday anyways, but it being a contest is all the better. ^^
It's her Vocaloid OC, Kury (right), with *Yukiko-Kun's OC, Yuu (left). I honestly had a blast drawing these two. Yuu's curly hair was much fun to draw.
I've been wanting to move over to this more realistic manga style for a while now, so this was good practice. It just felt right to draw this way. Like, normally I would be drawing in a normal manga style, and nothing ever seemed right, but I really love the outcome of this.
This just something really simple, and I used it to get my mind off of some crap going on here on dA (Check out the newest blog on #Team-Rocket-Club for more details. It's a quite amusing story actually..) And the background was really just me trying out different paper styles in SAI. But I like it.
